Shipping Policy UPS Next Day Air: Orders received by 10 am PST will go out the same day on during business days. So the next day air is the next business day. Example: If the item is picked up on Tuesday it will be delivered on Wednesday with next day air. If the order is received on Friday before 10 am PST Fed ex will deliver to you on Monday. In the picture above is where it all started at a Christmas Tree Farm just outside of Astoria Oregon around 1994 and has been family owned the entire time! Our business is named after a Clipper Ship, the Flying Cloud. Flying Cloud was the most famous of the clippers built by Donald McKay. She was known for her extremely close race with Hornet in 1853; for having a woman navigator, Eleanor Creesy, wife of Josiah Perkins Creesy who skippered Flying Cloud on two record-setting voyages from New York to San Francisco; and for sailing in the Australia and timber trades. A record held for over 130 years, from 1854 to 1989. Finally, in June of 1875 the Flying Cloud was stripped for her copper and precious metal fastenings, but her spirit lived on. In 1993, Flying Cloud Gifts began on top of Green Mountain near Astoria, Oregon, where we converted a horse stable into a gift shop, establishing our retail business with the help of our dear friends Larry and Irene Hreha. A year to follow, we launched our online retail business. In the beginning, we mainly sold Christmas Wreaths and other handmade goods, but we since evolved into what it is today! We send packages all over the U.S. and worldwide and even had Guiding Light of CBS purchased curtain rods for their stage set from us! A few years ago, Flying Cloud Gifts moved its home near the beautiful mountains of the Eagle Cap Wilderness in Enterprise, Oregon. On April 1, 2021 Flying Cloud Gifts will continue her journey to La Grande, Oregon. Eventually doing renovations on a building to set up a store front after being online only for 20 years. Amberlee and I have teamed up to carry on the tradition of Flying Cloud and please stop by to see us or place an order online! We are able to ship anything out of the store front making it easier for people to send gifts to friends or loved ones.
