With Job Boardly Remoteusa.co is built and operated using Job Boardly , a platform provided by Glacier Systems Pty Ltd (ABN 47 687 105 184), an Australian company. Job Boardly acts as a data processor on behalf of Remoteusa.co, providing the technical infrastructure for this job board. Job Boardly’s infrastructure is hosted primarily in the United States, with some data stored in the European Union. For messaging, Job Boardly also acts as an independent controller for a limited set of safety activities: handling reports about messages, automatically checking messages for signs of recruitment fraud, stopping message notification emails to people who have marked them as spam, including on other job boards built with its platform, and investigating fraud or abuse that affects more than one job board. Job Boardly does not routinely read messages. Its privacy policy explains this processing and how to contact it. A full list of Job Boardly’s sub-processors is available at jobboardly.com/sub-processors . With other third parties We may also share your data with: Professional advisors (e.g. legal or technical support) Regulators or law enforcement, where required by law Other parties, with your explicit consent We do not sell your personal data. 6. International data transfers Remoteusa.co operates using Job Boardly’s platform, which is headquartered in Australia and hosts data primarily in the United States, with some data stored in the European Union. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our job board. By accessing or using Remoteusa.co, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Remoteusa.co is operated by Remoteusa.co (“we”, “us”, “our”). If you are using Remoteusa.co on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you are agreeing to these Terms for that entity. 1. Who can use Remoteusa.co You may use Remoteusa.co if you are at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding agreement. By using the platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements. Remoteusa.co provides a platform for: Job seekers to discover opportunities and submit applications Employers and recruiters to post job listings and manage applications Where Remoteusa.co offers messaging, employers and job seekers can also message each other about an application (see Section 5). 2. Job seekers 2.1 Creating a profile and applying You may create a profile and apply for positions listed on Remoteusa.co. You are responsible for: Providing accurate, complete, and up-to-date information in your profile and applications Ensuring that any CV, cover letter, or supporting material you submit is your own and does not infringe any third party’s rights Keeping your account credentials secure and notifying us promptly at [contact email not configured] if you believe your account has been compromised 2.2 Sharing of application data When you apply for a position, your application data — including your name, contact details, CV, and any other materials you submit — will be shared with the employer or recruiter who posted the listing. By submitting an application, you consent to this sharing. 2.3 No guarantee of employment Remoteusa.co connects job seekers with employers. We do not guarantee that you will receive interviews, offers, or employment as a result of using our platform. All hiring decisions are made solely by the employer. 3. Employers and recruiters 3.1 Posting job listings If you post job listings on Remoteusa.co, you agree that all listings will: Accurately describe the role, requirements, and working conditions Comply with all applicable employment, anti-discrimination, and advertising laws in your jurisdiction Not be misleading, fraudulent, or designed to harvest personal data for purposes other than genuine recruitment 3.2 Your responsibilities as data controller When job seekers apply to your listings, you become the data controller for their personal data under applicable data protection law. You agree to: Handle applicant data in accordance with applicable data protection law, including the GDPR and UK GDPR where applicable Use applicant data only for the purpose of evaluating applications for the listed role Not share applicant data with third parties without the applicant’s consent Retain applicant data only for as long as necessary for the recruitment process Respond promptly to any data subject requests (such as requests for access or erasure) from applicants 3.3 Compliance with employment law You are solely responsible for ensuring that your job listings and recruitment practices comply with all applicable employment, equal opportunity, and anti-discrimination laws in your jurisdiction. 4. Prohibited conduct You must not use Remoteusa.co to: Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content Discriminate against applicants or post listings that violate equal opportunity laws Harvest personal data for purposes other than legitimate recruitment Scrape, copy, or reproduce content from Remoteusa.co without our permission Transmit spam, malware, or any harmful or disruptive content Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform Impersonate any person or entity We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms and to suspend or terminate accounts that engage in prohibited conduct. 4.1 Content moderation We review content on Remoteusa.co to ensure it complies with these Terms and applicable law. Our approach includes: Human review — reports of prohibited or illegal content are assessed by our team Automated checks — we may use automated systems to detect spam or other clearly prohibited material Removal — content that violates these Terms or applicable law may be removed without prior notice Account action — repeated or serious violations may result in account suspension or termination under Section 11 If you believe content on Remoteusa.co is illegal or in serious violation of these Terms, you can report it by contacting us at [contact email not configured]. 5. Messaging Where Remoteusa.co offers messaging, an employer can message a job seeker about an application the employer has received, and the job seeker can reply. Depending on how Remoteusa.co is set up, job seekers may also be able to start a conversation. Messages are text only; file attachments are not currently supported. 5.1 Using messaging Messaging is for communication about the job application a conversation relates to. You must not use it to: Send spam, or messages unrelated to the application Ask a job seeker to pay a fee, buy equipment or training, or provide bank, payment or identity-document details as a condition of being considered for a role Advertise a role that does not exist, or impersonate an employer, recruiter or any other person Harass, threaten, abuse or unlawfully discriminate against anyone Send malware, phishing links, or anything designed to obtain login details or other personal data by deception Collect or use personal data for any purpose other than the recruitment process the application relates to Limits apply to how many messages and new conversations can be sent in a given period. If you are an employer, messages you send and receive form part of the applicant data you are responsible for under Section 3.2. Stay safe.
