The matched Google listing showed 4.8/5 from 414 reviews. Saved customer comments (not independently confirmed): Maya gave my hair life again! I’m so happy with my haircut, it’s so cute. Thank you! | Anyone with curly hair, don't think twice about booking with Khadija. Legit the best experience you can have during the haircut and of course, the haircut itself. Cannot thank you enough, Khadija, for your hard work and accuracy in creating the perfect haircut I wanted. I'm also so grateful for the consultation we consistently had and the wonderful experience you created during the haircut! See you in 4-6 months maxxx | Andrew was amazing. He is so skilled at his job and so down to earth . It was a joy to get my hair cut. | always a pleasure to talk with Laura -Ashley and a great cut and fab colour included - thank you | Shampoo Hair Bar is the best! I don't trust any other salon with my blonde hair. Plus they have such a fun energy! | Always a treat to spend an hour in Amy's hands! | I received a scalp treatment from Marty and it was wonderful. Marty is the ultimate professional with a great personality. | I recently brought my 11-year-old daughter in to Shampoo Hairbar for vivid purple highlights, and our stylist, Amy, was amazing! She took the time to really listen to my daughter and help her figure out exactly what she wanted. She was incredibly patient, kind, and made my daughter feel comfortable and involved in every decision. And the results? Absolutely fantastic! My daughter's hair looks beautiful, and she left feeling so confident and excited. We've definitely found our new favourite stylist. Thank you, Amy, for such a wonderful experience—we can't wait to come back! 😊 | Fiona is amazing. She did an excellent job cutting my irish curls, which isn't easy. | Luxury prices demand luxury service. Won't be back. | I had a very disappointing experience with Shampoo Hair Salon. Their communication was extremely poor. My appointment was rescheduled several times, which was already frustrating, but the worst part was the consultation appointment. They booked me for a consultation but did not clearly mention which location I should go to, even though they have two branches in Victoria. Because of this, I first went to the wrong branch and arrived about 15 minutes late. When I arrived, the person at the front desk was very rude and told me the stylist was fully booked until the end of the day. This was very upsetting because the consultation would have taken less than two minutes; they only needed to check my hair length to determine the price for a keratin treatment. In addition, I found their prices very high. I previously had a simple haircut there that took less than 10 minutes, and I paid more than $120. Overall, I found the communication, customer service, and pricing very disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this salon at all. | Mike has been my stylist for years. He has morphed me through many of my stages with perfection. | Marty was fantastic! It was my first time at Shampoo and I loved it. | Every time I come in to see my stylist it seems they really are prepared for my next visit. The attention to detail and the final results have been nothing short of amazing. | Just had a wonderful appointment for a haircut with Nya. That was perfect from the beginning with the consultation, the shampoo + head massage and the cut. Very professional and talented. All the staff I met today were amazing. Highly recommend ! | I love Shampoo Hair Bar! Friendly staff and Kate is am amazing listener, who offers great ideas for hair styles and delivers amazing results. | Great appointment with Lindsay, highlights and haircut. She took the time to chat upfront and understand my hair goals. She made sure to set expectations and provided excellent recommendations. I am thrilled with the result and will definitely be going back to see Lindsay. The salon itself is also gorgeous. It's buzzing but not overwhelming and actually quite relaxing. | Had the best experience with Georgia! She totally got my thick, unruly hair and was able to thin it out without making it fluffy. Lovely salon, lovely experience. | I had the loveliest experience today at the Shampoo Hair Bar in Fairfield. I was very nervous because I have recently required an eye patch from tumours in my eye socket, and I feel very self-conscious. The staff were absolutely incredible. They reassured me by email that the appointment could be adjusted as needed, and from the moment I walked in I was greeted so warmly. The salon is also lovely, like a little jewel box in Fairfield. I met Holly, who was a truly wonderful and skilled stylist, and also just the sweetest person. She listened so attentively to my requests, and was both kind and reassuring. I wanted a cut with long layers and a small side bang that would cover my damaged eye. She spent every minute of my appointment creating the most beautiful haircut I've ever had. My hair looked so pretty, and she went above and beyond to make sure I loved it. I can't express enough how wonderful this experience was, and I am now a loyal client for life! I'd recommend Shampoo Hair Bar, and especially Holly, to anyone looking for a beautiful haircut from an amazing stylist in a lovely salon. | I bought a gift certificate for my best friend here (this is her favourite hair studio). It was a Christmas gift and I wanted her to have a basic hair cut and pink highlights in her bangs and framing the face. Finally, she went in and had it done. I just saw her new haircut and dye job… all I can say i

Twigs garlic pretzels (trust her — they’re elite). A fun fact you might not expect: Nicole can do the splits — a recent personal goal she proudly checked off. When it comes to local favourites, you’ll find her at The Five & Dime Diner in Sidney for what she confidently calls elite brunch. The colour that best describes her energy right now is pink. Inside, you’ll find a fun and fashionable — yet inviting and unpretentious — salon. At the Beginning... Back in ‘96, our three founders, Jen, Dylan and Laurie, met for the first time. Laurie was Jens stylist at the time, and inspired Jen to get into the industry herself. Over the next few years, Jen and Laurie worked together, and dreamed about what owning their own salon would be like. It took a while, but after a decade of friendship, Jen convinced Laurie that they needed to make their dreams a reality. With Laurie behind the chair, Jen managing the salon, and Dylan on the books, Shampoo Hair Bar took off. The salon hasn’t stopped growing since, and now has two locations in beautiful Victoria offering a full range of services. Why We're One Of Victoria's Best Hair Salons Shampoo Hair Bar is a salon founded by friends and family, and those are the relationships we seek to build 20 years later. Our Shampfam strives to make everyone who walks through our doors feel at home. What our team of highly trained stylists really want is to make you look and feel good, and have a great time doing it. We're here to foster a culture of inspired creativity through extensive education and a supportive team-focused environment. We love to see our team members succeed in both career and personal goals. We hope you'll feel how happy and passionate our team members are. And leave your appointments feeling inspired, excited, and beautiful. importantly Gender Neutral & Inclusive of all Gender-neutral pricing is based on the hair treatments, stylists you choose, and how much time you spend in the salon - not your gender. We want to provide a space where everyone feels comfortable and welcome. Services at Shampoo are all about you - your hair, and your goals - no matter what! You'll find our salons safe, inclusive, and comfortable for all. Values - Our Foundation Community Support Our success is built upon the support of our clients, and it is important to us to show our appreciation by giving back to our community every chance we get. Through the Fairfield Gonzales Community Association and the Downtown Victoria Business Association we are able to stay connected to community initiatives. Social Responsibility We are proud supporters of womens health and wellness initiatives, 2SLGBTQIA+ organizations, and reconciliation activities, through organizations like Wear 2 Start, the Orange Shirt society, and the Victoria Pride Society. Inclusivity and support for marginalized communities is at the core of our value system. Environmental Responsibility We chose organizations and salon activities with environmental sustainability in mind. Our partnerships and daily practices are built around a mutual care for sustainability. Meticulous recycling, thoughtful ordering, and careful planning means we can reduce waste and minimize our impact on the environment. at the core of everything Education In an industry with ever-changing trends, continuing education for stylists is a necessity. Our philosophy is that education fosters creativity and grows inspiration. Taking classes brings new practical skills to our everyday services, as well as inspires us to take new risks and create our own Shamp trends. We don’t just offer classes for cuts, colours, and learning the same old things. We seek out education that pushes boundaries and pushes us out of our comfort zone. Our Shamp classes include things like creative braiding, backstage styling, colour correction, and \gasp\ public speaking. We can't do it all, but it's fun to try! A well-rounded and ever-changing line-up of continuing education means our stylists are prepared for anything, and we think this helps them to continue to love the industry and see their careers in a new and exciting light. In addition to monthly education classes for all of our stylists, we offer an intensive apprenticeship program that aims to build brand new Shampfam members from the ground up! This program is highly curated by our team of mentors in collaboration with each individual student. Students are given the space to choose their favourite things to work on while learning a super solid technical skill base to set them up for a long and successful career. Bringing new and talented stylists into the industry is something we are extremely passionate about. Each stylist brings their own individual energy to our salon and we love that we can share our resources with new talent. Sound like a team you'd like to be a part of?
